As turmoil continues to brew in Syria, our host Allen Ruff was joined by guest David Swanson on Thursday September 5th to discuss the current situation in Syria and the question that the U.S. is being forced to consider. Will the U.S. Congress vote to attack Syria? Ruff and Swanson discussed this and the importance and the possible effects of an attack against Syria as well as where Congress stands on the issue today.
“Refugees are fleeing Syria in greater numbers as a result of the U.S. government’s threat to send in missiles. The refugees have all sorts of opinions of their government, but by many accounts they overwhelmingly oppose foreign missile strikes — a position on which they agree with a large majority in the United States.”- David Swanson in his blog post, Caveman Credibility and its Cost.
