Tonight is Trivia Night in New Glarus – the First Annual Trivia Night featuring the talents of The Flying Zupan Brothers. There is a cost for this event. It is sponsored by the Friends of the New Glarus Public Library with all proceeds going toward the library’s building fund. This is at 7pm at Flannery’s Wilhelm Tell Restaurant, 114 Second Street in New Glarus.Tickets available at the door or from the New Glarus Public Library. Echo Valley Hope welcomes all to Celebrating Beloved Community, a weekend of experience and conversation around creating and living beloved community at Echo at Echo Valley Farm in Ontario, Wisconsin. The event runs this weekend, January 18th to 21st, beginning tomorrow at 5 pm. There is no charge for this event, and Echo Valley Hope will accept free-will donations for Water for Peace, a project of the Iraqi-American Reconciliation Project. Saint Vincent de Paul annually provides hundreds of needy people in Madison and its surrounding communities with good-quality recycled and new bedding. This year’s Recycle the Warmth drive will be held January 27th through the 29th. Gently used or new bedding, or cash donations, are welcome at a variety of drop-off locations. More info at
