On Thursday Oct 25, Tony Castaneda interviewed Israeli-American author and peace activist, Miko Peled. He is the author of The General’s Son: The Journey of an Israeli in Palestine. Miko was born in Jerusalem into a well known Zionist family; his grandfather was a Zionist leader and signer of the Israeli declaration of independence, and his father was a war hero in the Israeli army.   He is currently on tour to talk about his book. On Monday October 22nd, John Quinlan shared a compelling and thought-provoking conversation with Miko Peled, an Israeli peace activist and author of “The General’s Son: Journey of an Israeli in Palestine.”   Son of an Israeli war hero general who was an outspoken proponent on behalf of peace and a Palestinian state following the 1967 war, Miko was challenged in his beliefs in 1997 when his 12-year-old niece was killed by a Palestinian suicide bomber.
