Paul Abramson is a neighborhood activist on the East Side. He is on the Board of Directors with the Wil-mar Neighborhood Center. The 30 year old organization is well loved and always in the black, said Abramson, when asked if his organization was in trouble. He went on to say that they have been doing quite well, financially, which is unusual for a nonprofit.
Abramson talks about the organizations history and also what it plans to do in the future. The neighborhoods of Madison have undergone a lot of change in the last 30 years, including significant rises in property values. Because of this the mission of the Wil-mar center has to change.
