On Friday December 20th, our host Esty Dinur spoke with Allan Greicon Macedo Lima, a Research Associate at the Council on Hemispheric Affairs (COHA) where he focuses on Brazilian and Latin American geopolitics, public administration and education, about a few of the most important issues Brazil is facing.
One of the key issues Dinur and Lima discussed during the show was where the United States stands with Brazil in terms of foreign policy In addition, Dinur and Lima covered the history of the United States involvement with the rule of the generals, military expenditure, the Amazon and protecting the rainforests as well as how the United States intervention in Brazilian affairs has affected the relationship between the two countries.
