Chris Ware got his start writing comics for the University of Texas’ Daily Texan. Since then, he’s been featured in Art Spiegelman’s RAW, the New York Times Magazine and has published several books, including Building Stories, Acme Novelty Library and Jimmy Corrigan the Smartest Kid on Earth. Chris will be speaking at two workshops on illustration and graphic novels, at the Wisconsin Book Fest, on Saturday, October 19 at the Madison Central Library. On October 14, Chris talked with Monday host Brian Standing about his technique, his inspirations, and his rejected Fortune 500 magazine cover.
